House rules

So what does it mean to be in a democratic guild for the mature? We could write down a whole rulebook but that would mean we expect you to be immature by default. So we expect our members to know what mature behaviour is and act like it. Below are a couple of pointers to give you an idea if your interested in joining us.

Democratic means

  • Officers are chosen by the members in a transparent way. Read more on this on the elections page.
  • Everyone can run a campaign to become an officer. An officer is elected for 3 months.

Mature means

  • No dramas in guild chat; arrogance, critical behaviour towards others, bragging and emotional outbursts are things we expect from a twelve year old, not from our members. Cause a scene and your search for a new guild has begun.
  • Bickering; you think the sky is blue and someone else is convinced it is kinda greenish. You know your not going to convince anyone on the internet; its a fact of  life. Accept it and move on. Repeating yourself is childish behaviour.
  • Respect; if you feel the need to tell your guild what your going to do to your girlfriend or that you voted some extreme right wing party than move on, there’s nothing to see here.

Social means

  • Real life is more important than a game; we’re not going to kick you from the guild because your busy taking care of your children or simply because you have better things to do. All main characters are safe for at least six months and probably longer.
  • No attendance rules or anything like that; if we need people online for raids we will try to accomplish this through positive means. For example gaining loot points for attending a raid. Nobody is forced to do anything, period.
  • One channel of communication; we’re not going to have ‘elite’ members chatting in an  officer channel or on a teamspeak server while others prefer to stay in guild chat.
  • Being an officer is a job, not a perk. You can bother our officers with all your questions and they will help you if you are stuck on a quest. Boosting you or running you through flashpoints because you can’t find a group however is entirely optional ;) We do hope that helpfulness isn’t exclusive to officers though!

  1. Hello, I’d be happy to join, as your guild share my very own preferences, being it social and not a heavy progression guild.
My main is a 50 Jedi Guardian (at the moment dps specced, but my best gear is tank, as I levelled it that way). I’ve already done some heroic mode pugs (probably even with someone of your guild members), but i’d like to do something more, maybe even some operations…
I’ve some experience with WoW in all roles (tanking, healing and dpssing).
I’d like to know a couple of things before joining, in particular when eventual operations are scheduled, and how many people are there in the guild.
Let me know here, I’ll just wait for a reply! :)

    • hi Gixx,

I think it’s easiest to do the trial period of around a week so you can have a look and see if you like it. Look for me online and I can invite you for that if your interested!

      Cheers,
      Glorl

  2. Hello there my freinds and I are currently looking for a mature, active and social guild and we feel this may be just the place. We are all mature gamers who know each other from Lord of the rings online , myself Uswin level 45 jedi guardien, Bryan level 48 jedi sage and Stannis level 50 trooper vangard.

We origionaly formed our own small guild to make it easyer for us to group with but we are looking for a larger guild to call home to enable us to see more of the game. Any of us would love to have a chat with an officer or recruiter to find out more about the guild and we hope to see either Glorl or Leyana in game to find out more.

    Thanks for your time
